Galaxy watch 4 classic compatibility with the Pixel 7 Pro

I am looking at getting the Google Pixel 7 Pro and I have the Galaxy Watch 4 classic and I was wondering if the two devices are compatible with each other before purchasing the phone 

I have contacted Google reference this and they have told me to contact samsung 

So I'm hoping this area can help

During the preorder stage, you could actually have got the Pixel 7 Pro and Google's new pixel watch for free as a gift.

I'm not sure if that offer is still running now though, check Google website.

The watches connect by Bluetooth so I assume it would work

@sampeacock: I can confirm that the Galaxy Wearable app is available on the Google Play Store, and can be installed on your Pixel 7 Pro to connect the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Please be aware that some features, such as the Samsung Health Monitor, are not available when connecting to a non-Galaxy smartphone.

Hi Andrew, I am having a problem connecting my galaxy classic watch 4 to my new pixel pro 7. The devices just will not pair, the codes match on both screens. Any ideas?

Exact same problem, the number match and when i click pair they do nothing. Any solutions?

I have a Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm) and Pixel 7 Pro. How do I enable Wifi calls on my Watch 4 when I am out of bluetooth range of my phone. I could not find the Settings for "Answer calls on other devices" on my Pixel 7 Pro. Is this something which works only with a Samsung Galaxy Phone?

Do you have a lte watch? I bought the pixel 7 pro and I don't have issues pairing it with a galaxy watch 4. My issue is that I can't set the esim to use the watch without the phone. I've tried contacting Samsung support they mentioned is not with them, but doesn't.make sense to me that the only functionality that differentiates the watch is not available with a non Samsung phone.

I have a similar issue. Been trying to activate esim on Galaxy Watch5 with Pixel6 Pro but getting an error code -1.
