I bought the samsung galaxy watch 4 as soon as it came out and was so excited! After 2 months my watch band broke. I called Samsung support and was told they would not provide any replacement or discount and I could buy a new watch band online. Crazy! I had my apple watch for 4 years with no problem. Has this happened to anyone else?
Seems like their customer support has really slipped

Exactly the same happened to my son's watch, so I was looking for a solution. It is annoying that a brand new product breaks so soon and Samsung is not willing to assist. It is faulty design and they should own it.

Hello, seems that Samsung has step up their game, I am sorry to hear you all had a pretty unpleasant experience, but I wanted to comment and let you all know, that I had the very same issue. I purchased a watch strap, in which sadly, no more than 3 weeks and it ripped / broke in the very same spot as the picture shown by @Mike23 . So any way, called them, was on the call for no more than 5 min, and they will be sending a return label for my damaged straps, and will be sending me a pair of new straps. Very happy with the outcome. Thanks Samsung!
