Wow... two years later and people are still having this problem.
I decided that I'd go though this massive thread and try to compile all the possible fixes, to make it easier for people to (hopefully) find a solution that works for them. Let's go...!
1. Pair with another non-galaxy device
2. Blow on the speaker driver
3. Clean the metal mesh under the cover
4. Check for defects and ensure proper charging
5. Toggle "Call Audio" and "Media Audio"
6. Adjust "Media Volume Sync"
7. Battery Discharge
8. Reconnect Speaker Cable
9. Throw them against a wall 😅 (?)
10. Reset the ear buds
I hope that at least one of these solutions will get them working again for you.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far!
Good Luck! 🤞
I've been using my Galaxy Buds for about 2 days now and this afternoon when I put then in, I noticed that the right earbud is significantly quiter than the left. I would say about 75% quieter.
When I put the left bud in, it chime as usual, but now when I but the right bud it, it doesn't chime at all.
I've tried up-paring and re-pairing them to my Galaxy S10+ and have also reset them from within the Galaxy Wearables. My Galaxy Wearables app is up to date, as is the.software on my Galaxy Buds.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Is seems that lots of people had this issue wi h the 2018 IconX Buds, could if be something similar?
Solved! Go to Solution.

I tried the solution, but whenever i connected other headphones, it was the opposite, which is to be expected.
But when i connected my galaxy buds to my friends iphone they worked fine.
Luckily my sister had galaxy buds as well so i decided to connect them to my phone and they worked fine without the accessibility solution, and when i connect mine again they worked fine as well... Before that i had reconneted them multiple times and nothing happened, but this for some reason did work. Hope i i helped someone out.

I've been having this same problem recently, and none of the given solutions have worked, I've changed tips, I've disconnected and reconnected, I've even blown into it. Nothing worked, that's not to mention the constant connection problems ever since I bought them. What a huge waste of money 👎

My left earbud is significantly quieter than my right. This has happened with my previous pair but I couldn't find my receipt for those so I had to purchase new ones.
How can I send them back to get a new pair????

I tried this and It seemed to have worked at first but after 1 hour of use it is extremely noticeable again. The only 'solution' I have found to go into my phone settings and make the left ear bud louder. I have to put it all the way to 50% to equal them out but this results in an extreme amount of volume decrease because of of the balancing. So either I have to listen to music with one ear at 50% volume or both at 50%
