I've tried for a few days now and have not been able to get past 70% when measuring. It keeps claiming my fingers are touching. They are not and I've had people watch me do measurement and they are also adamant they are not. I'm following the instructions correctly and it always stops at the 70% mark so it's weird that I would always make slip up then. I think there is an issue in the software as it used to work and that was before a software update a while ago. Anyone else having problems doing the measurement and it stopping ata fixed point?

To be sure, are you pushing your watch further up your forearm? If not, that could cause issues.

If not, I would suggest you unpair and reconnect your watch.

Here had the same problem and found a solution-
Try these 2 things..1st power off the watch wait a few minutes and then power it back on. 2nd power off the phone and restart it see if this helps to get you the final result you are looking for.

The other way I have found works is to make sure the sensor on the watch is clean, then turn the watch around on your wrist so the sensor is against your palm side of your wrist make sure the watch is tight and then make sure your fingers touching the buttons are damp. It's a lot of messing but I found this worked. Hope that helps

Wetting finger tips before measuring finally got me a measurement. Compared that my Withing scales and there's a big difference in the values. Will do some more measurements in the coming days to see how that levels out
