Camera Controller app not working on my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic

Camera Controller app not Working on my Galaxy Watch4 Classic . Camera controller app has installed on my watch. I can see in settings/applications. But app doesnt show up on main screen and so i cant use it. By the way i cant delete or re-install the app. Help me please

Also my phone is Samsung A7 (2018)

I just got my Galaxy Watch4 yesterday and noticed this issue. Camera controller app is not in my app drawer, the Galaxy Store does not show it to me, and when I type the direct link to the app it says "Your watch doesn't support this app." Samsung, what the hell? I'm having second thoughts about this watch now. Perhaps I should return it and wait for a second generation of this new Wear OS + Tizen crossover software..

I have been having a look at this topic and the app page, and it seems that this app is only compatible with the following devices: 

- Watch : Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Active2, Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch 4.
- Phone : S21, S21+, S21 ULTRA, S20, S20+, S20 ULTRA, S20 FE, S10, S10+, S10e, S10 Lite, S9, S9+, Note20, Note20 Ultra, Note10, Note10+, Note10 Lite, Note9, Z Fold, Z Fold2, Z Fold3, Z Flip, Z Flip3 models
- To use this app the you will need the latest version of the software for your phone and watch.

I have galaxy watch 4 classic and galaxy Note 10+.  Camera controller on my watch is NOT working (when I touch the camera controller app, the watch becomes frozen until I press power button) and I cannot find camera controller app on galaxy store. What is going on?

It finally works. Had to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and update software again and turn off VPN

never mind - it worked last night but this morning it does not work again. It opens the camera on the phone, and I can take a picture using the button on the watch, but it fails to open the preview and shut down. Please fix the app. Both the watch and the phone are updated.

I switched from a dying S9 to an A52s, which can smoke my old S9 in terms of performance and connectivity. Yet, I'm unable to use the Camera Controller on my GW4, which worked on my outdated S9.

This looks like a deliberate software limitation, hoping that some people would upgrade to a flagship phone in order to use their watch to the fullest. 

Shame, I thought they were better than this.

I'm having the same problem.  How is it that some watches can use Camera Controller but some cant?
