Buds not charging in case

Almost brand new pair of buds pro3 that have suddenly stopped charging when returned to the case. I can cable charge the case and the buds also charge, but once the cable is removed they now don't recharge after each use also the green light on the front doesn't come on now. I've cleaned the contacts inside the case and on the buds but no change. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated

Buds not charging in the case is kinda a thing that happens. Blow into the case where the buds go, rub the metal bit on the bottom of the buds onto your pants, put them in the case. Usually does it for me

So when cable charging, the case led is on (and red, then green when full) ?

When case charging the buds, what lights are on if any.

Is the case fully charged?

When cable charging the light is red and then flashes red when full. It used to change to green when full but now does not. The case does not charge the buds any more, I get a white strip light on each bud when I place them back into the case but they go off and there is no light on the front of the case

Yes, I charged it fully.
