Buds 3 Pro 'aren't near you' alert

I've started getting an alert from my buds each time I replace them in the case, it thinks the left bud is not near me, when it is, and snugly in the case with the other bud! Does anyone know how to fix this, short of turning off alerts for the buds?

I think this may have been fixed. Today, I made sure I had the latest versions of the Wearable and Samsung Find apps, I cleared the data and cache on both apps and I've not had the message since.

Hi @Saxacat Are the Buds functioning properly otherwise. If you go to the wearable App,Earbuds settings check the Diagnostics. However could try a Reset.

Thanks, tried reset, but no change. Guess I'll just have to turn that function off.

Have just tried the diagnostics, pass them all except 'charging cable' the diagnostics do not recognise that they are plugged in, even though they are and charging ok; so guess the case connection to the phone might be dodgy.

This has started happening to me as well. Only started when I got the new one ui7 update

Same! I had to repeat the test and it worked, but the buds themselves definitely don't always charge either. However, the Find app issue only appeared after updating to OneIU 7 for me.

Charging not a problem for me, at the moment; but the alert, as you say seems to be down to One UI 7. If you use the feedback option in the members app, I got an acknowledgement pretty quickly.

the same thing has been happening to me since my  last UI update on my samsung s25 Ultra.  I thought about uninstalling my bud3 pros and starting over as new.  Don't really want to have to tweak settings again.  How about releasing new phone updates that don't doink my current working apps.  AND stop installing worthless game apps that I never had or wanted with every UI update.
