I calibrated my watch again with the actual monitor, but after decided to measure using the calibrated watch and monitor, the readings were completely different, the watch had 106/75 whereas the monitor was 100/68. I check my BP regularly as requested by my GP, but now know that I cannot trust the watch readings, which has made me think about the other readings from the watch, even though I do also use the Samsung ring

Watches will give a half decent reading and depending on the watch you have. The Watch Ultra has a more accurate reading.
But. They are not medical equipment, and as such you use the readings as a guide.
Any medical issues will need to go through your doctor

Also don't forget that measurements from different areas will give different readings

Hi. Nothing beats dedicated medical equipment and a proper doctor.

With the blood pressure. You need to calibrate it every month or so.

Also with blood pressure. Even with the arm one you will hand up with different readings if you do one after another.

If you have the arm one it's better to use that.

I'm sure tech will get better as the years go by.

I'm using the watch 6 47mm lte

Just checked again this morning and it's accurate, seems like it will not read pressure if the top number is below 100, anything 100 or above seems to be OK. Gonna try recalibrating it again tomorrow
