02 trouble

I have just got the galaxy watch and the 4g trouble has started. When it's paired to the watch it works fine when I leave phone at home I receive no texts and if I call somebody the phone goes through as a diff number to my phones. 02 have been no help so any help would be great else it looks like the watch will be returned

Eid number does it have to be the same number on watch and phone ?

Watch and mobile plan. Phone has its own eid number but not what your after. Just the watch and the mobile plan it's added to. If numbers don't match the problem is there.

Go settings on the watch. So settings above watch then device its in there. Jot it down will need it. Or the back of the box if you can read that small. Then on the phone use the wear app under watch settings mobile plans in there in plan details should be the information about the plan and device its on ie watch and the mobile phone under as model numbers.

Hope it helps as long as the numbers match up your good there. It only brings the two e sims in play or a dud watch or 02 need to redo the plan and you reset the watch and start over in terms of setting watch back up again may have to do it twice as I have a sim and esim on the account but till I get a new sim watch is dead in the water.

All looks good but still no joy. I can make calls on watch but it goes through as diff number. And still can't send or receive texts. Never had this trouble with an apple watch 😥

Get the network to add it as a one number so they add that number to your number not a separate number. Vodafone call it one number don't know what 02 call it hence why I said about two e sims as you can't have two e sims on one number has to be a sim and e sim. That should then fix your issues as.

Silly question is it a iPhone you want to use the watch for or a Samsung device. If iPhone send watch back as it won't work with iPhone now Samsung took a jump on the dark side with watch 4.

Cool the two numbers need to be one and then works in one ie have your phone goes Bluetooth
phone out of range goes lte with same number data plan will match ie minutes texts and data. Sounds like they half done the job. Ring them up and ask them you want to add it as a one number trying to look on 02 and see what they call it like I have said Vodafone call it one number.
