Following the most recent update to the Samsung TV YouTube app, when you connect to the TV via the YouTube app on iPhone 11 Pro, every action you perform restarts the video you are playing.
For example, if you start a video playing, then add another video the queue, the video you're watching will immediately restart from the beginning. If you unlink you're device whilst watching a video, this will also cause the video you're watching to restart from the beginning. If you relink a device to the TV, whilst watching a video, it will again cause the video you're watching to restart from the beginning. If you switch auto play on or off from the YouTube app, this will also cause the video you're watching to restart from the beginning.
Essentially, since the new update, every action you perform on the YouTube mobile app, whilst controlling the videos on the Samsung YouTube app, results in the video you're watching restarting from the beginning. It's hugely frustrating and effectively renders the linking function useless.

I'm having this same problem since this week with my OPPO Find X2 Neo phone.
Haven't found any other mention on the internet concerning this issue.
was this ever solved.....?
