The TV is on the samae network as my iPhone and my computer, lthough the computer has no control over the TV, the iphone has Samsung Smart Things on it. I can find settings for what is called Daily Board which is what the image I sent is, but there doesn't seem to be a setting to turm it off completelyand despite the 'timeout' settings I have discovered it was all night with no movement or sound in the room, so it should have switched off.

Thanks but I don't seem to have Daily Board User Detection as an option

@IanCardiff: Please can you confirm the model number of your TV? This can be found on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV.

@IanCardiff: Having looked into this, is does not appear to be possible to disable the Daily Board feature, however it should only appear when the TV is in an idle state. If you follow the link below from our friends at Samsung Canada, and click on 'Daily Board Options and Settings' then this will walk you through the various ways that you can customise the feature to your preference.

Thanks for that but it does not solve my problem as once the screen has been ativated when the TV is idle it stays on the screen until the TV is active, the time out feature does not appear to work at all. I have noticed that the Daily Board gets activated by a voice request to any Amazon Alexa device, maybe I should deactivate Alexa on theTV and Sound Bar. This cannot be how it is supposed work?
