@Vinny74 Ensure you have the latest firmware, if not can be downloaded to USB and upated that way. https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/ However you may need to reboot the TV and any external devices you are using. unplug for at least a minute before trying again. If that does not work try a Factory Reset.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

My Samsung TV has just done this too, I did a full reset to remedy it.
however it’s very disconcerting as it’s only been set up two days. Hopefully it’s now sorted because resetting isn’t a fix that’s acceptable if it happens again. Bottom line things have hiccups however it shouldn’t happen at all on a TV of this price.

Same thing here on a new Samsung TV. Only thing that works is to factory reset and reenter all passwords and preferences. Very annoying and I can't find a solution anywhere.

Have had this TV for 6 months, happens about once a week. Very annoying that there isn't a fix for it

I chatted with Samsung. They suggested unplugging the TV from the wall or power strip for at least 1 minute to reset the 'glitch'. It's annoying but less than a whole reset. It has happened twice since and it has worked each time.

Worked for us, thanks very much. Let's hope it continues to work.

This is very annoying, as when it happens I have to make sure I am not crazy! Unplugging from the wall seems to re-set it for awhile but the issue comes back. Luckily I do not watch much local TV and mostly stream where this is not an issue.
