TV remote won’t turn off Sky Q

I’ve got a QN90C and the Samsung remote turns off the TV and soundbar but not Sky Q, is there a setting where the Samsung remote will power Sky Q on/off please?

Alternatively can you set the Sky remote to power the TV on/off. I can control the other devices with each different remote, but neither will power on/off the opposite device.

@snerkler  presumably has been set up via the Universal  Remote, do you have Anynet (CEC) switched on.  check Settings - General > External Device Manager - Anynet+ (CEC).

However Sky recommend putting SkyQ into standby overnight  to avoid  issues and Housekeeping on the Box is done during the night. https://xtrium.com/should-i-switch-my-sky-q-box-off-at-night/ https://www.sky.com/help/articles/using-the-standby-settings     It can take a little time to load otherwise.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I've discovered that holding the power button for a couple of seconds on the Sky remote turns off the TV so maybe I'll try that with the TV remote to see if it turns off sky too.
