unknown mobile trying to connect to TV

On the 27 August 2017 at about 22:30 a message appeared on my TV (UE48JS8500) stating that a Galaxy A5 (2017) wanted to connect to the TV. The message gave an option to accept or decline and I declined. Has anyone had this type of message? Has anyone accepted the invitation? What happen if someone accepted?

Hi @Bassman1951.

It sounds like this may be someone nearby experimenting with 'screen mirroring' on their phone. Providing you don't accept the connection, they will not be able to connect to your TV.
