UE70TU7020KXXU Main board swap

I have a UE70TU7020KXXU  70 inch TV and need to swap the main board. 

Is it possible to find out if the BN94-08157D from a UE65H7200UXXU be compatible with this TV?

Also for future reference how can I check board compatibility with all TV variants?

Hi @Doni91  Tv Boards are  designed to be compatible with a particular model and I would advise that repairs are best carried out professionally.  In any case  cannot really go into any interchangeability in the  public forum.

It is best to explain issues fully here for advice and if it is likely to be a Tv  Board issue Members may wish to contact Samsung Support.

In general terms for safety reasons  products should be inspected by a qualified engineer/technician.

Thank you for your response, although it would be helpful having some kind of table showing lift of board serial numbers compatible with certain TVs. I don't see why that should not be shared with public like myself who are perfectly qualified and skilled to replace or even fix main boards. I have tested the faulty TV and it seems like the VPMS2GMB DC-DC converter was bust via a surge, there seem to be no shorts on the rest of the parts, so the main board or IC itself need replacing. It may be hard to get hold of the IC itself, so that is why I am looking for list of compatible main boards...

For instance would you happen to know how I can find out whether the SAMSUNG UE65TU7020K MAIN AV BOARD BN94-16628M is compatible with my UE70TU7020K TV?

Picture of the boards confirms all the hardware is the same, but still need confirmation before purchasing.

Hi Sorry for the late response. Do you get a blue screen and hear the sound? If yes, the motherboard should be fine, the issue is in the screen panel. There are some videos on youtube to fix the tv with tape. The display is driven via both sides, so if you find some faulty signals on one side of the panel, you can insulate them with tape. This worked for me. Videos on youtube go in more detail. Good luck.

Hi, yes, some issues inside the screen panel so insulated some of the signals on one of the screen flexi connectors. Some lines showing across the screen, but still works well.
