Hi,

Why can't I control the volume of bluetooth from tv? If I connect my Iphone to the bluetooth speakers, I can control the volume from the phone with no problem. When I connect to the same speakers with this tv, Im able to control the volume only on the speakers. Cant this be solved via firmware? Seems like a basic thing to me...

Thank You,

Update the firmware for UE55KS7000 please! hands-free headsets (without volume control) are now very popular.

Well actually I have the UN49KU6500 and updated the firmware last night but still no volume control.

I liked what someone said in a similar post, "Samsung should not use Bluetooth in their marketing material as Bluetooth is Standard, what they are providing is not standard."

Hi everyone!

I figured out that you can change bluetooth speakers volume when you have two remotes. One is the original TV remote control and second one is television services remote. With TV remote you can change TV volume and with television services remote control you can change speakers volume. When you don't have television services remote control then I can't help you.

I hope that it helped.

So, I purchased Samsung Galaxy Live earbuds. I turned off all touch controls, while I'm learning how to wear them, and I planned on just using the volume control on the device. The volume worked perfectly with our LG tv, so imagine my surprise when our newest Samsung TV wouldn't allow me to control the volume with the remote. I mean... these are "Samsung" earbuds, but they work better with LG.

Earth to Samsung: We are now 4 and a half years on from this issue being reported, and it appears to apply to multiple if not all models of your smart TVs. (Mine: ue50ju6800, 2017- Bluetooth connects to earbuds, but volume level unadjustable)

The prospect that this issue has even been reported with "samsung" galaxy earbuds is preposterous.

You must be aware that more recent popular earbuds do not have native volume control, including apple airpods and my new sony wf-1000xm4s- the fact that they do connect to the TV and that you do receive sound but at a fixed unadjustable level seems so close to what everyone wants, and appears to be a feature on most other manufacturers displays.

At least put our minds at ease and dispell the idea that this is not an intentional bid to limit Bluetooth audio to specific Samsung devices.

Please provide a reason why this is a difficult/impossible fix through a simple firmware update.

I beg you for closure on this matter... Please! Just a reason why! 📺🎧🎶🙏🛐

This is all intentional. But that's not all. Since the latest firmware update for my MU7052 Bluetooth audio volume is so low that even on my BT speaker at it's max volume, the sound is barely (!!) audible. All my BT headphones (even those with volume control) became useless. This company is a big pile of *****.
