I have an external HDD connected via USB. This has worked fine for several years. Recording, Playback & Time-shift functions worked normally. However couple months ago the HDD is no longer recognised by the TV. When I press record I get an error message as below
"Recording (or Time-shift) is currently unavailable. Please check your tv and USB device and try again "
I've experienced this issue before only a couple months after purchasing the TV and an update solved the issue then. Now updates don't help. Current update is 2910.
Hard drive is a Seagate SRD00F1 - 1TB
TV is UE48H6700
I don't think this is an issue with the remote as I've tried the other remote that comes with the TV.
