Hi Guys, first post so please be gentle.
I have an issue with my tv where I cannot connect a pair of bluetooth headphones. I know the tv does not have bluetooth.
I am using a usb powered UGREEN Bluetooth 5.1 Transmitter and Receiver 2-in-1 as the following link plugged into the optical connection in the back of the tv.

On selecting tv to external speaker I get no sound on my bluetooth speakers which are connected to the transmitter plugged in the tv. I have tried all of the different sound settings available but there is no option for "optical" as is the case with my Samsung smart tv.
When I select tv speaker it doesn't give me any options, i.e. there is no list to choose from.
The optical output is working as the light is on.
Can I just say I have a LG tv which does not have bluetooth either from the same year 2015/2016 and it works fine on that tv. Plug and play so this looks to be a Samsung issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
