Hi @QuirkyZac It seems there is not support for a Tv app at the moment, obviously would be welcomed by many though a PC is an option for some.
Whilst screen mirroring is a workaround the sound will not come from the Tv Speakers. Information from Samsung AV Specialists a while ago was:
"When Screen Mirroring Zoom, or any other video conferencing software from a Smartphone or Tablet, the sound will never come through the TV speakers.
"Video conferencing software relies on the fact that it knows which device the sound is being reproduced on, and so knows the exact timing of it. If it were to allow the TV to make the sound, there would be no way of cancelling that audio from the microphone on the device running the software, and so it would end in a feedback mess."
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Umm...you are wrong. The sound actually does come though the TV speakers when using screen mirroring. The problem is that if you run zoom on your PC whilst mirrored to the TV a webcam attached to the TV will not show in Zoom as a selectable device for video.
This is interesting really. The TV "monitor" will play sound but will not connect to a webcam on the TV. I guess this means that the mirror feature also connects to the sound from the PC/laptop so mirror is aware of PC devices like sound and monitor but mirror is not aware of devices connected to the port in the TV monitor.
Which I think begs the question why? If you can hookup a TV via HDMI or wireless to a PC or laptop and use it as a monitor and get sound to play why cant the HDMI/Wireless interface also access the devices connected to the TV??? My guess is that there needs to be an interface card inside the TV that can interface to a connected HDMI or wireless device, Perhaps the smart TV could be made to be a little smarter?
This is why Samsung should allow apps like Zoom to be installed, but for some reason they don't.
All I can say is that next time I buy a TV I will make sure it can run apps like Zoom, and that Samsung needs to take its lack of Android apps very seriously.

I use an hdmi cable now from my laptop to the TV and this works fine. I can run any PC app including MS Teams and Zoom. I do need to have the webcam plugged into the laptop for this to work. This also works connecting wirelessly to the TV via the windows monitor wireless display settings but wireless is a problem because it keeps disonnecting itself randomly. So hdmi cable and plugging the webcam to the PC/laptop is the best solution i.e. simply use the TV as a monitor via HDMI.

Yes -I do screen mirroring with my apple phone - but the quality is not good - I tried updating the apps hoping that samsung could give us the option to download zoom - no luck

Just connect your laptop or PC to your TV with an HDMI cable. This allows you to use your TV as a monitor on your computer.
You can then use Windows or MAC to run Zoom or any other app.
I suggest you get a wirless keyboad (bluetooth) and a wireless mouse too. This way you can put your laptop near the tv and use your wireless mouse and keyboard from the coffee table. The other way would be to get a longer hdmi cable (2m or 3m) so you can have your laptop on the coffee table.
Dont bother connecting your TV wirelessly to you computer as this isnt stable. Always use an HDMI cable to connect you TV to your computer.
There really is no other way to do this that works as well.
