I currently use the Smart View app on a (non-Samsung) Android phone, as a remote control for a Samsung MU6100 TV. I also use it's functionality to display video, music and pictures from the phone on the TV.
On October 5, Smart View will be removed from Play store, and the app "Smart Things" is recommended. Can anyone confirm:
(1) does Smart Things allow you to use it as a remote control for the TV?
(2) does Smart Things allow you to display video, music and pictures from phone on the TV?
Want to confirm I'm not losing functionality by switching from Smart View to Smart Things. Thanks!
