Hi, hopefully this is the right area. I'm having trouble with my Smart TV (Model number is UE65NU8000, bought in March 2019 so 8 months or so old). When I'm watching Netflix or Prime or anything that requires wifi, every so often it just randomely disconnects from it and the only way to get it working again is to turn the TV off at the plug, turning it off and on with the remote doesn't fix it. All my other Wifi devices work fine and I've never had a problem with my router or anything else, it's just the tv. Has anybody else had this problem?

Hi @Freddles91

i have the same tv and it started to happen to me too. While watching Netflix the sound would disappear then the signal altogether,

now when the tv is switched on it doesn't even connect anymore.
did you manage to find a solution? Or resolve it?

thanks

Same here. Netflix and prime sound drops out en seconds later complete picture is out. Internet is working fine.  I've seen other posts where I think hundreds of other people deal with the same.

That's what I've found as well. I have the same issue. After many hours of research and no help from Samsung it seems to be a cheap wifi card. No amount of software updates will fix it and it seems to be universal in their TVs. Great picture but I won't be going Samsung next time. Either sell a dumb TV with a great picture or put in a decent wifi card.

Hi all

I have got exactly the same problem as you are and I have contacted Samsung customer support chat yesterday and they requested to reset the network setting. After that it did work for 5 hours only and then it start happening again by Auto disconnect from the Wi-Fi for some reason while I have many other devices connected perfectly to my router  with no problems or issues.

This is weird coming from Samsung as there are known for their great customer service which I  get really surprised when I see them ignore the customers issues and problems.

I connect mine to 2.4 ghz. Does it make any difference?

Hi Abdull, not at all. 2.4 mostly used for wider range (distance from your router) and 5 for faster connection. But if your kind of close to your router any of those frequencies work.
