Silver square samsung crystal tv

Hello!

Recently received my new TV, in the box there is a silver backed square. The minimal instructions say something along the lines of sticking it to the rear of the TV. I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on this please?

Me too, I spent hours on a chat with Samsung, it seems they don't know either, i gave up waiting on their response after two hours. Does anyone know?

I scratched my head to because of the mirror at the back. Its for advertising purposes, when sellers put it on display. Not required.
