Samsung TV Plus keeps returning despite disabled on S95B

Hi everyone,

on my 55" S95B, no matter how many times I've:

1. Deleted all Samsung TV Plus channels from the channels list, and/or;

2. Disabled the Samsung TV Plus app from Samsung Smart Hub;

The darn app and channels keep coming back, just as I did nothing to prevent this to happen.

I think I've already tried every solution proposed on this community (factory reset, cold booth, etc.), but no luck.

Is there anyone out there that successfully succeded on removing Samsung TV Plus for good? 

If so, please share your solution.

There's no official way and I've only heard of the steps you've tried. A bit like the default apps on a mobile device, they will likely always come back with any update, as it updates everything.

 

Apart from repeating the steps that worked for you before, I don't think there's anything you can easily and safely do. You 'could' disable automatic updates, so you have some control over when the apps come back, but isn't recommended, as you could miss out on new features or security patches.
