I wanted to know if the Samsung TV UN58MU6100 is compatible with AirPlay? Or Apple TV if yes how do I download the app on the tv?

We're afraid that Apple Airplay & Apple TV are only available on our N Series TV's and later, and are not available on our M Series range.

Would be good to know if Samsung at least PLANS to support Apple TV. In the meantime, the least expensive workaround I found which did not involve casting, was to buy a cheap ROKU device which has the Apple TV App available.

It would be best to ask Apple regarding this as they create and maintain the apps hosted on our TV's, @dansplan.
