I bought a Samsung TV almost four years ago if not less.  The same day I received the TV. It didn't work and someone had to come in and replace it.  Last Year the Screen went and someone had to come in and replace it.

NOW.. The Tv completely went.  No Sound, No picture and no light. The told me either i get it fixed or buy a new one. How can a tv only last me less than four years. I spent a lot of money on this TV and now its gone.

I called Samsung for assistance and they send me to someone in the Philippines who can't speak clear English and gave me a hard time. I called them several times and they were no help whatsoever. I am do disappointed with the TV and the service i received from Samsung.

At this point, I will never buy Samsung ever again.  They are Horrible!!!

@MirJay: I'm so sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue with your TV, and to hear of your frustration surrounding the warranty options and the service you have received. The standard warranty for our TVs runs for 12 months from the purchase date, therefore if your model is around 4 years old then we would only be able to offer you an 'out of warranty' repair, which would be chargeable.

When you spoke with our Support Team, did you run through any troubleshooting steps to see if you're able to restore power to the TV? If so, please can you let me know which steps you have attempted? Also, please confirm the model number of the TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device, as this will be helpful in terms of providing accurate troubleshooting steps.

@MirJay: If you have completed the relevant troubleshooting steps with our TV & AV Support Team, and the problem was not resolved, then sadly an out of warranty repair will be necessary in order to restore the TV to its factory settings, and return it to working order for you. I do appreciate that this is not ideal, and apologise for any disappointment this may have caused you.
