Hi all my tv is stuck in boot loop most of the time. Can watch for 30 minutes then it restarts again. Tried restarts, used a friend's connect box who has a similar tv with no lucky.

Any suggestions please and how much does samsung charge for repairs. So irritating after spending £1k not so long ago.

My old samsung tv was 8 years old and sold it on still working.

I am following up with Samsung guys. As of now, no solution except for panel replacement which is going to cost around 60% amount of your TV price which I am not interested at all to pay to Samsung. I would rather buy new TV from Sony or LG instead. This is definitely some manufacturing defect that's why its coming to all The Frame TVs

Exact same issue here. Just started this morning. Displays ‘The Frame’ then switches off and starts again. 2020 50” Frame TV. Completely unacceptable for a £1500 TV to start playing up like this after only three years. Like everyone else we’ve got an older flat panel TV that’s about 12 years old and still working fine.

Same issue - 2020 55" Frame. The box clicks, "The Frame" logo flashes, the screen turns on and then immediately off. A couple times it stayed on long enough to check the settings, and looked like everything was up to date.

Just put in a service request - is there any chance it's a software issue? Or am I likely looking at a hardware replacement (ugh - ridiculous as it is only 3 years old).

Its TV panel issue as per Service Engineer and it will cost at least 50% of your TV. I have currently raised this issue to Samsung as this looks like manufacturing issue and it is getting faced by many users. But they are not doing anything on this as the unit is out of warranty. Now, I have only 2 options - Either I get TV panel replaced or buy non-Samsung TV as I dont have any trust on Samsung products now.

We’ve got an engineer coming out tomorrow. If they find a fix that doesn’t cost loads I’ll post back here.  Otherwise all that’s left are complaints, bad reviews, and social media.

Please do keep me posted - I'm still waiting on a service appointment. I called Samsung support and flagged that this seems to be a somewhat frequent issue for 2020 55" Frames, but the rep I spoke with said that there are no known issues with the model. I understand it's beyond her control - but pretty infuriating considering a quick Google search will quickly reveal otherwise!!

Bad news: same story here I’m afraid. New screen needed. No price quoted but no reason to expect it’ll be less than others have been told. New TV time for us then. Won’t be a Samsung.

Sorry to hear that! Truly insane that this is not a recognized and thus covered issue... do better, Samsung.

I am trying repair from local tv repair shop to fix panel issue. If it worked, then my  TV money is saved for few more years/months. Otherwise new TV need to buy and definitely not from SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG is making unreliable product and then charging customers again to fix that. They quoted me Rs 52000/- approx for TV panel replacement with 1 year warranty on panel which is around 65% of TV cost. Also, they offered me discounted repair with Rs 32000/- (20000 discount) on goodwill basis but no warranty on this discount panel. I said F*** O**, no reason left to get it repaired from SAMSUNG at all.
