It’s been months of having issues uploading photos to my Samsung Frame. I cannot plug a usb in as it’s mounted with the box behind and I can’t reach it.
the SmartThings app is up to date as is my tv. But when I go on the app, it no longer pops up with the art store mode with the option to browse for photos, and I’ve pressed every option and its not there. Please help!

I am having this issue and am about to return my Frame. I can use a firestick on a much cheaper tv and the screensaver is a slideshow of my Amazon photos, exactly what I need. Samsung, what are you doing to fix this??!

I contacted tech support and was able to fix it with these steps:
Reboot the TV by pressing and holding the power button on your remote for at least 30 seconds.
Only upload a few images at a time
if that doesn't work...
Go to Settings - Connection - Network then select Network Reset.
After the reset, press and hold the power button on your remote until your TV restarts by itself.
try again...
if that doesn't work...
Unistall SmartThings app,
Switch off phoneSwitch on and re-install SmartThings
try again...
if that doesn't work...
throw it out the window 😏

Same issues! Tried just about everything over several days. I kept getting the same error message… you need to make sure the Frame and this device is connected to the same network, or words to that effect. Clearly both were connected as I could operate my tv Frame from my IPad.
I am fortunate enough to have 2 iPads. The older of the two got damaged. The screen cracked and rather than go ahead to replace the screen, I just put on a screen protector and use it when the grandchildren call. This older ipad is operating on iOS of 16.+.
Crucially after checking out the Smart Things App in the iPad settings of this older iPad, I noticed I had switch OFF the “allow new updates button”.
My new iPad is operating on an IOS of 18+. It updated quite recently and crucially that same button (“ allow new updates”), was switch ON not OFF as in the old iPad.
So, last resort, I wondered if the old iPad would still allow me to upload my own photos to The Frame Art. I charged it up, let it it sync to other iPad, iPhone etc, opened the Smart Thing App, and Bingo, the tv is recognised and when you select it, the Art box is there on the next page. When I click on that Frame Art option box, it takes me to the page where “Add your own photos”, is highlighted as is the “Browse”, and I have absolutely no problem uploading my photos to the Frame.
It’s worth noting too that my newer IPad was able to upload my own photos to the Frame PRIOR to the new update being installed. It seems that until that glitch is solved, I’ll have to use my old IPad to upload my photos. I’m amazed how quickly and efficiently I was able to upload my photos on this older device. Was seamless.
I hope you are able to make sense of this! It may help someone to upload photos.

It sounds like the problem started with an update on your iPhone (somewhere between iOS 16-18). If that’s true, then there’s no solution for those of us who have updated our iPhones since version 16+?

We purchased our Samsung Frame tv in early 2022 and it was a relatively easy process to upload photos. My last successful upload was in March 2023 and I hadn’t tried again until Christmas 2024. I can see the “Browse” option, but “Add photos” is suppressed as an option. Something has definitely changed between Samsung, the Smart Things app, and iPhone equipment, but in a “chat” with Samsung they assure me iPhone users can still upload photos. My next step is to call the help/service team and speak with a real person. I’m open to suggestions of what has worked for others
