I switched on the tv as normal with the remote and popped out of the room when I returned the tv was off which I thought strange as I hadn’t turned it off. I’ve trying unplugging etc but nothing is working . The red standby light is on so it’s getting power and when I’ve tried switching it on from the tv itself, the to red light flashes but doesn’t come on. Any help appreciated.

@Cully195: I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue. If the red standby light is blinking when you attempt to power on the TV, then I recommend arranging for the device to be inspected by an authorised Samsung engineer. If you are based in the UK then you can make the arrangements yourself via the link below.

Alternatively, please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via your preferred channel, and an advisor will be able to assist you further. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Try holding the on/off button down for a few seconds on the remote control. Hopefully should sort it.

Maybe try holding the button down for longer. I've had similar experiences with my Qn90 65. Only happened a couple of times. I thought I'd turned it on but black screen. Holding the button down sorted it everytime. Like a reboot thing. It starts from the beginning saying smart tv etc.. did you have warranty? I extended mine to five years earlier this year. Better in the long run for a quality tv. Already had the screen changed once because of dse.
