S90C gamma setting in one picture mode actually overwrites gamma in all picture modes

Has anyone noticed weird behaviour which I found in my S90C firmware 1410:

When editing picture mode / expert settings / gamma

Changing gamma setting from "BT.1886" to "2.2" or vice versa actually changes gamma setting in all picture modes, not only the one currently selected.

Other expert settings seems to be picture mode specific, as expected. Just main gamma setting is single value across all picture modes. Which means I cannot have different gamma, ie. "BT.1886" in Standard mode and "2.2" in Film mode, as setting one value automatically changes the other picture mode value! Quantum entanglement?

For me it looks like a bug in firmware.

Yes that's the way it's supposed to be. That's why BT 1886 has a slider to adjust it. Then it won't overwrite for all picture modes.

How do you know it is supposed to be that way? I've checked e-manual and there is no mention about it. And slider is not a solution as BT.1886 +1 is not the same as gamma=2.2, although close.

Additionally I noticed that gamma 2.2 works similarly in all modes, while BT.1886 +0 in all modes except Film highlights a little bit shadows while generally darkening whole picture and in Film mode BT.1886 +0 actually darkens shadows as well as whole picture.

I do not understand why I cannot set Gamma=BT.1886 in Standard mode and Gamma=2.2 in Film mode, it does not make sense to me.

BT.1886 +2 is basically Gamma 2.2.

Yes, you are right.

Exactly the same behaviour with Gamma setting exists in my old Q80R, so it is expected.
