Hi, we have four months old 50" QN90C.
Main user is non-technical. A Samsung soundbar is installed but the user prefers internal speakers which is set as default.
When bringing the TV out of standby, the volume level is that at which it was when put into standby.
Then when initialised (in the UK, once the Freeview channel is received, the text service loads and the 'press red' or 'press green' caption displays), the volume changes to level '6'.
Whether it was turned down to '0' or tuned up to '20' at standby, it always resets to '6' around ten seconds after switch-on.
This is frustrating to the main user. I'm not sure if this behaviour is a change from initial, nor whether any 'intelligent' settings affect it, or whether it is manufacturer-intended.
Is there any way to make it maintain the switch-off volume level beyond initialisation please?

Hi @nvingo There is an Adaptive Sound setting in the Intelligent Mode, if that is not proving satisfactory best to turn that off. https://www.samsung.com/Intelligernt Mode
if somehow that does not sort it I would advise a Factory Reset and should there continue to be issues try the Sound Test,Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

When I have opportunity I will take a further look at these settings:

Active Voice Amplifier: Analyzes ambient noise and provides optimal sound depending on the noise level.
Adaptive Sound+: Provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content.
Adaptive Volume: Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. This feature analyzes your volume usage history and automatically adjusts the volume when viewing content.
and report back.

Well that failed at the first hurdle
Just like on previous models, Intelligent Mode on 2023 TVs analyze the TV's surroundings, ambient noise, the content you're watching, and your usage patterns. The only difference is that the settings have been improved and are better than ever!
To access these settings, press and hold the Home button on your TV remote until the quick settings menu appears. Select All Settings. Then select General & Privacy, and then select Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.
I pressed HOME and held it, the homescreen came up, the next thing to show was the 'remote assistance' dialogue, not the quick settings menu.
Though prior to this (and I don't know if the main users' actions contributed to it) the switch-on volume is now stuck at 18 instead of 6.
