QN90B VRR flicker after update 1403.6

I updated to the latest firmware (I know, should have waited longer...) and I can't use VRR anymore since it causes constant flicker in games.

Issue at hand seems to be with the 'standard' VRR mode.

I plugged both consoles to the TV directly (I normally run everything though Denon 660H) and while it seemed to help with XSX, it didn’t with PS5 (still a lot of flicker).
Thing is, Xbox uses Freesync premium for vrr when connected directly to tv, while ps5 just uses the ‘standard’ vrr. Might explain why people that have pc hooked to the tv or use xbox connected to tv, don’t have this issue with the new firmware (or maybe it's completely unrelated)

Games tested:

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - lots of flicker

DMC5 - same, lots of flicker

Ghostwire Tokyo - a bit of flicker

Horizon Forbidden West - no flicker

RE8 - no flicker for me but other people report having it

Elden Ring - flickertown

Steelrising - no flicker

Same problem with the 55qn90b after update 1403. Vrr not active in game bar. In warzone 2 the screen keeps blinking.

I am on firmware 1420 and this flickering is happening to me when vrr is enabled on my 3080 video card in win 11. Halo Infinite in the menus get really bad flickering.

Still happening in 2024, firmware 1640 on a 50QN90B using g-sync connected to PC.

Baldur's gate 3 : flickers a lot, but stabilizes after some time, then goes crazy again
Cyberpunk : unplayable

Of course tried different cables including xbox and ps original ones. Researched everywhere on the web, people with same issue and still no solution... Well, the solution is to play without VRR, and outside game mode, that has lowest input lag.

I doubt Samsung sees this, so I will cry on my corner.
