Hello Samsung Community,
I purchased a 65” Samsung S90C in February 2024, and it has been an outstanding TV for family use and gaming. I primarily use it with my PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and the overall performance has been excellent. However, I’ve encountered a recurring input lag issue during gaming sessions.
The problem occurs sporadically. While playing, I noticed that my character continued moving even after I released the movement control. It feels as though Game Mode momentarily disables, despite showing "ON" with the Input Lag setting on “Fastest.” The only temporary fix I’ve found is pressing the HOME button and returning to the game, which forces Game Mode to restart.
I can assure you that I have everything properly set up and tuned on regarding game mode settings and such. i am a geed / nerd and I know what I am talking about.
This issue is quite frustrating, especially in online multiplayer games where pausing isn’t possible. I’ve tried resetting the TV, ensuring it’s updated to the latest firmware (Version 2000), but the problem persists. and I cannot reproduce it on demand.
Has anyone experienced this input lag issue with the S90C or other models? Are there any permanent solutions available, or should we expect a future firmware update to address this? I noticed that similar problems had been mentioned in older models, such as the OLED G8/G9 on Reddit.
Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
