I'm about to pull what little hair I have left out.
Trying every possible combination, using multiple TOSLINK cables (not the problem),
I can't get my new QN90B to output digital audio via the optical output that my Yamaha receiver can recognize. This is independent of the source of content on the TV (Live, Samsung+, PC (via HDMI), .... and independent of either Optical ports 1 or 2 on the receiver.
When I hook an optical cable to my PC, and when I select the (Realtek) as the "Sound" for the PC (Win11), the receiver recognizes the PC's output, all the way up to the highest setting.
I want to use my audio receiver and speakers for the TV, not the Samsung soundbar.
Has anyone made this work?
