According to the adverts you should be able to "Enjoy all your favourite content in glorious 8K resolution, even if it’s not filmed that way"
So according to Samsung, the likes of Netflix, Prime, Samsung Plus, Sky, DVDS, Blu Rays etc should be showing in 'glorious' 8k but they are NOT being upscaled to 8k or anywhere near it.
I know the reasons why having read similar posts so how can Samsung claim that content not filmed in 8k will still be displayed in 8k?
This has got to be false advertising surely?

I await your response.
In the meantime I have sent a letter to Trading Standards highlighting Samsung false claim.

Morning @Flotmangooner ,
I have now received a response from the Audiovisual Specialist Team. As per their email: All (non-8K) content that enters the TV is up-scaled, sophisticated processing algorithms make that content look good as possible at the 8K resolution of the screen, a lot more is happening than simply increasing the number of pixels of the original content. There are however limitations, the TV cannot create details that didn’t exist in the content presented to it.
