Hi there

Just bought a qe75q800 TV with the slim connect one box.
however how do I mount this box to the TV (for wall mounting purposes) I’ve seen some YouTube videos where it’s shown mounted to the rear of the TV - however there doesn’t seem to be any mounting points.

any input is appreciated.

thanks

Just bought the QN95B and was struck with the same issue, especially as I’d had the power wires & internet preinstalled in the new wall at the correct height. I tried to mount the slim one connect box, but eventually bought some industrial strength Velcro and put two strips on the wall and back on the OCB. I then cut a wooden bracket to sit underneath as an extra support. This all sits within the depth of the Invision bracket I installed. Hope this helps.(Rotated for some reason!)(Rotated for some reason!)

I asked RTINGs the same thing after seeing a picture of it installed via their website.
The instructions for mounting this to the back of the TV can be found on Samsung's support page, in the quick start guide (https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/EM/202206/20220619034444001/BN68-14516A-00_QSG_QN95B%2075...

- Middle box where is mentions 'When installing the TV as wallmount, You can place the One Connect Box as shown below'. In short, there are three bolts that go in the back of the TV (Samsung calls them HOLDER-BOLTS, and the One Connect slides over those.

Hope this helps Screenshot.jpg

Any ideas where to find these holder-bolts?  I didn't get them with my TV.  I've tried calling Samsung and their parts.com supplier and they were absolutely no help.

Can anyone tell me the size of these "hanger bolts" to connect OCB to back of TV,  samsung has been ZERO help, my tv did not cove with the 3 screws.

Hi BroadSword,

I got the same TV and the same problem and thinking to opt for the solution you went ahead with- Velcro/Double sided tape + wooden block for support.

after all this, did you face any issue in these two years? Did One Connect Box get hot as it is placed behind the panel?

Any issues with sound output?

The Indian 55” QN95B didn’t had any option to mount the OneConnect Box behind the TV. Infact no mounting holes behind the OneConnect Box. Is it safe to mount it on the wall with double sided adhesive tapes?

Thanks for the questions and sorry for the delay. No problems and just been to check. Grip still strong. No heat or sound issues. Just make sure you buy good Velcro tape - mine is 50mm wide and rated for 7kg. No danger of it falling off.

Provided there's decent air circulation there should be no problem.
