I use HDMI black level Low for over 5 years now on my samsung TVs, it is the way to go, you can adjust shadow details and black level from other settings.
HDMI Black level Normal is pure trash and washes out 90% of the games.

HDMI black level is set to "auto" when using game mode. It can't be changed.

You can change in SDR. In HDR low is default.

No you're wrong. Black level low is meant for HDR 200-255 Black to white ratio. For SDR Normal or auto is the correct level

I wonder how any self-respecting company can sell TV with such bugs? I make it totally unusable for gaming.

Wasn't there a rumor that a new version of qled would be released today? Some wrote that something had to come out today

Q95T owner here, tried both 1304 and 1402 firmware with the same issues in each.
Enabling game mode (necessary for Freesync/VRR and low latency) absolutely butchers colours and dark scenes, making everything look grey-ish.
I figured out I can circumvent this a little bit by first setting the input source to PC and DISABLING game mode, then setting the input source to 'Game Console' and ENABLING game mode, then switch back to PC.
It SHOULD keep game mode seemingly enabled in the background, allowing Freesync/VRR and low latency, while also allowing proper colours and nice dark scenes. Basically fixes everything that game mode breaks.
However, doing this results in extreme purple inverse ghosting in dark areas, caused by far too much pixel overdrive (something Samsung offers no settings for), but at least the colours aren't ruined.
Hopefully this trick can help people enjoy their TV's a little more until Samsung fixes these issues... or we get fed up and return the TV's.

Hello all,
This morning I was playing a bit and made 2 videos showing the purple/green ghosting on my 55 Q80T.
Its about time to samsung fix this issues...
I'm trying to have a replacement with samsung support but they don' t have a conclusion yet.
You can see the videos here:
We need to keep showing samsung evidences of the problem, this is not our imagination, they are selling top products with faults, and they must fix this.

Today tech come and replaced the motherboard with no results. Purple ghosting still very noticeable.
Next step is to replace the panel. If even with the panel exchange does not solve the problem, what they will do? New tv? Money back?

The technician called me about a minuto ago. Wen he was at my place this Monday, he ask me to send the videos that I filmed and published on YouTube. He said the the videos were sent back to Korea factory and they will analyse them and take a decision.
I Hope this can help me and all other people with this horrible problem.
They must start program to replace the faulty panels and assume that these TVs have a lot a problems, not just in gaming mode but also on the other modes.
