I read that after recent update 1372 to 2019 model Q85R (one connect box model) gets 4K 120hz update.
Has anyone tested in EU?
Also please let me know what config PS5, XBOX, PC etc... and what is specific TV model number you have tested it.

Hi,
I'm on 1372.2, on my PS5 no 4K 120fps (hdmi 4), max 4k @Anonymous User, why samsung do that ?

Did you check your cables? They need to be 2.1 certified, not just regular 4k. That’s the issue I’ve had with mine. Got some new ones coming

I bought an HDMI 2.1 cable on purpose, 2 month ago (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00KR9H2AK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

I have Q80R RU-region model (analog Q85R) with One Connect. Xbox Series X connected via HDMI 4 port in 4K120 HDR and FreeSync. What chroma and bit color used at this mode?
It's important to turn on 4K 120 hz in Xbox settings, because it allow using full bandwidth of 40 gbit console HDMI instead 18 gbit limit in 4K 60 hz mode.
But sound delay still keeping while tv connected to sounbar HW Q80R and Atmos passtrough didnt work.

The Q85R supports 4k 120hz with full RGB on HDMI 4.
The PlayStation 5 does not report 120hz in the video information, this is a Sony thing. For example there is a procedure you need to carry out to get 120hz in Call Of Duty. The option will not show up in the PS5 video information to select like on an Xbox. This is because the PS5 does not support any in between resolutions like 1440p.
it’s 720p,1080p,4k or nothing.
So to be clear, you will have no issue on Xbox but to get it working on a Q85R with a PS5 you will need to jump through hoops, if it works at all. It might be that you will have to use 1080p.
As for the sound delay. You can’t fix the delay in ARC. eARC is what you need but it is not supported buy this TV and probably never will be.

Could you please let me know what HDMI cable you are using on the HDMI 4 Port? Is it HDMI 2.1 or 2.0b

Meanwhile I habe update 1374 for the q85r 2019. Bought the new Xbox, connected it with the delivered HDMI cable to HDMI 4 port at the connect box and surprisingly I was able to activate 4K with 120 FPS. So it works...

My PS5 only goes up to 60Hz.

Use the included cable with ps5 and plug it in to hdmi 4.
makes sure input signal plus is activated on your TV for hdmi 4.
The PlayStation will show 4k HDR RGB 60hz
It will also say it supports 120hz but will lower the croma to 420 when it switches over.
I dont find 120fps that rewarding to be honest.
