Unable to receive Freesat channels on q80t TV

I have just bought a new Q80 t Tv . I want to use the freesat buit in option to receive these channels and not use the sky box . On the sky box and once connected to the TV via HDMI I have all the freesat (incl. HD ) channels. However when I connect the satellite cable directly to the TV , the scan via dish finds all the channels and i can also see the contents in the guide . I am not able though to see any of the channels when selecting them  (no signal message). I am also not able to connect to aerial due to a problem with the aerial which is not tv related so I really want to use the freesat mode. I have tried to re-tune a few times but cannot fix the issue.

Any advice on how to correct this ?

Hi @dirk73 

Just to confirm, when you refer to connecting the 'satellite cable' directly to your TV, are you referring to the Sky cable from your external Sky dish?
