When I connect a CAT6 cable, between my Samsung TV (Q70R 82 inch) and the ethernet switch, I am able to get a 100Mbps link. When I replace the TV with a laptop, I get a sold 1Gbps link which verifies my wiring.
Can the Ethernet port on the Samsung Q70R support 1Gbps connection?
I do not see this anywhere in the documentation. Please respond back.
In this day and age, I find this bizarre as to why would Samsung save a 2$ (or so) on a 3000$ TV for a slower rated ethernet port..
