Hi all. I have just purchased a 77" S95C TV. Part of the package was free TV wall mount. So their partner delivery courier came, Panther to set up and install to the wall.
They are claiming they are not trained or insured to wall mount anything above 65" unless it's on a brick wall. The complaints department at Panther have told me in writing that this is not true and they would re-schedule for today. The same 2 guys called me this afternoon saying they still couldn't install on my partitioned wall. Who is correct, the installer or the admin/complaints department at Panther.
Samsung don't seem to be interested with my position and are just saying that Panther will sort it.
Has anyone else mounted a 77" TV to a stud partitioned wall?

My TV is 62 lbs I think. They may only get into one stud because the stud is right in the centre. So one screw in to the top half of the bracket and one in the bottom half of the bracket. Then im thinking a few plasterboard TV fixings from Bullfix for extra support?

Samsung have replied to my formal complain and they deem the matter closed. So if you have a plasterboard wall, Samsung can't have this wall mounted. Im pretty sure there installation service is false advertising and not even sure it is legal. I am swithering about seeking legal advice.

Appreciate your response.
As per advised, panther was unable to proceed on installation as they don't do wall mount on the plastered board. We do apologise as we are unable to cover any cost for the installation with the third party installer. For further assistance, you may reach out Panther at 0160-421-5000.
We have nothing but gratitude for being cooperative in a situation like this, we need more of your support for us to come up with the best result soon.
