I have Sky Q on a smart tv, all was well, switched off as usual but when I turned it back on the Sky screen says no signal.
I have turned the tv and Sky box on and off and nothing.

In the source’s the HDMI has a small red on/off icon.
The TV upstairs on a mini disc is working g as normal. Is this likely to need a new HDMI cable?

I would power off for around 5 minutes  to see if that makes a difference, if not resolved it could be the HDMI cable but you would need to check.       Nonetheless  not always the case and there are continuing issues. Some customers have found that issues happen  less often if they change the ECO setting to None but would still need to put the Box into standby manually. Changing HDMI control option has had an effect for some customers too.

However there was information  previously  that there is an compatibility problem with the One Connect Box   and whilst they do work ok together the tuning of the distribution of the One Connect Box (q part of it) needs resetting at times.  Sky software engineers  said to be working on it but as far as I am aware have not yet found a solution and the onus at times pushed back on the Tv side.

If to no avail thewn best to contact Sky.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thanks, I have tried all I can except to change the HDMI cable. To be honest the cabling under the stairs where Sky box is etc is a nightmare, millions of boxes and cables. Think I will need to leave this to an engineer who might have some idea of what’s what!
