Sadly horizontal lines have appeared on our TV as seen in the pictures below. There's been no damage to the TV, I've tried a picture test and it failed. Lines are still present on black screen even if power is on but no aerial is connected. Checked power & connectors etc. The software hasn't been updated in a couple of years because it's difficult to get this tv to wifi/internet access. I was hoping somebody who's more familiar with the TV's could tell me from these pictures whether it's worth trying updating the software etc or whether it's a hardware issue and the TV needs replacing?

Hi @Jatkins Whilst you can disconnect external devices and reconnect to see if that makes a difference,with the Picture Test failure indicates a hardware problem (issue with panel). Therefore options would be repair/replacement. Not sure if you have had this model for a while or not. Contact details on Samsung Support. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/
