Hi all,

Last Saturday, November 9th, we were watching a show via Youtube TV on our Samsung neo QLED 4K QN90C TV. A pop up asked to update to the lasted Samsung software. Seemed like a pretty big update and is called OneUI. After the update the YouTube TV application would eventually load the menu but will no longer stream content. This seems to be directly related to the upgraded software Samsung applied with the OneUI update. Does anyone know how to remove this update? What I would really like is a link to the previous firmware so that I can roll back this upgrade. As a workaround we are using the Roku app to stream YouTube TV instead of the "Smart" App.

I have already gone through all the troubleshooting steps and will list them below.
Relaunch the app
Reinitialize the app cache
Reset TV to default setting
Reinstall YouTube TV
Reset smart Hub

I have this problem too, but with Sling & Peacock.  Ever since the OneUI update I can't stream shows on these apps.  I've tried all the tricks to resolve it... several times.  I'd really like to roll back the update.

Here are some of the things I've tried to do to fix the issue with no luck:

  • Reset Smart Hub
  • Clear app cache/data
  • Uninstall/reinstall apps
  • Unplug LAN and use wireless / turn off wireless and use LAN
  • Check internet speed (370+ mps)
  • Reboot modem
  • Unplug TV / Soft reboot TV
  • Contact app helplines.  Both no help
  • Check for updates on TV & apps (all up to date)
  • Factory Reset TV
  • Unplug TV for the night and replug in the morning

I have done all of these including a factory reset and the issue remains

Same here with the AppleTV+ App and a Samsung S95C. After the big update, some bought movies are not „compatible“ anymore.

How could Samsung release such a trashed update to the consumers!?

Does Samsung have a support site for issues with their Smart TV software?

I really couldn't find anything solid on that. I tried to just chat in with customer service and after waiting for over an hour I just gave up.

Having the same issue . I cant launch the You tube app. it either launches, but then nothing works, and nothing will load or I can’t even load the app app. Black/grey screen. I have done the same things. Everybody else has tried. I’ve even  reset my whole TV to factory settings .

I’ve tried doing all the things that you have done as well and cannot load the YouTube app

Still having the same issue but with Sling, Hulu, Apple, Disney and Philo. Live TV will sometimes load but no DVR or older episodes.

I went through Samsung support and they reset my SmartThings - had to log back into everything, which was obnoxious - and it didn't fix the issue.

I have a tech coming out tomorrow but unless they can roll the update back, it likely won't fix anything.

Shame on Samsung for putting out a trash update that broke the majority of streaming services.

Allow us to roll back updates!!!

Please let us know if they figure out a way to fix your issue. We have been using Roku since the update.
