Is this a normal amount of backlight bleed?

Got a 43" TU8000 delivered today and the amount of bleed from the bottom is really distracting and visible even when the screens not fully dark. Is this normal? I don't know whether to live with it, return it or replace it. First time upgrading my tv in 8 years, previous one had zero bleed.

I would class that as excessive, mine does it a little bit in all 4 corners and you can only see it on black or dark grey screens. if my telly was a few years old it wouldn't bother me but if that's relatively new I would be inclined to get it sorted

I have a brand new q90t and it bleeds worse than that
