I just recently bought the QN94A 50” and loving it except for one issue and that is local dimming in game mode on a PlayStation 5. The colour shifts when local dimming is set to high or standard in HDR. Setting it to low darkens the image but does fix the issue, this happens even with game HDR (HGIG) set to on even though it’s supposed to override and turn off LD on TV?
I updated to the 2001.4 software which fixes Game motion plus (Yay!) but the issue with colour shifting is still present. Is this an issue with my set it is it just the way it’s gonna be? I know this has been an issue on previous TV’s so I’m surprised it’s not been fixed in software.
Is there any chance Samsung will allow LD to be switched off so HGIG can do the LD on the console? I’m positive this would solve this issue as it seems to be Samsungs algorithm for LD in game mode that’s causing this issue.

I just got QN85A and I have the same issue and greenish tint on whites. It makes gaming on this tv nearly impossible cause the colour shift is distracting and very visible, especially on HUD elements in games. I will be trying to factory reset my TV and set it up again since colour shift is random. It's not there when local dimming is set to low but on the low whole screen goes extremely dark. Happens on Series X.
