Firmware T-NT14LDEUC_1042.0 on a UE50J5150 (Standby LED "off") not working

Hi, my TV was on Firmware T-NT14LDEUC_1038.0.

Setting Standby LED to "off" in the developer menu wouldnt work.

I just installed firmware T-NT14LDEUC_1042.0 on my UE50J5150.

Setting Standby LED to "off" in the developer menu still wont work.

would this be a standard menu on every SAMSUNG TV and why wont such a simple function not work on some TVs then? 😞

Also in this thread, user "okatomy" writes he has more than 1 UE40J5150 and these already show firmware

T-NT14LDEUC_1045.0

T-NT14LDEUC_1047.0

and

T-NT14LDEUC_1049.0

The user states that the version availabel as download would be T-NT14LDEUC_1042.0 only.

Question: Would the UE50J5150 also be able to upgrade to 1049.0?

I can only imagine why SAMSUNG would not share future firmwares for TVs dated 2016 anymore.

Mind explaining?
