I have a ue40ku6400 - Disney + has been working fine for a few weeks but now I am getting this (no problem on another Samsung TV)

The error message relates to 'language settings' for what that's worth

I have been through disney + support & tried various things to no avail including verifying password, changing DNS settings etc.

Reinstalling smart hub worked until TV powered off then problem returned. Any ideas gratefull received - no one else seems to have this error!

Just wondering if there’s any sign of a solution from either Samsung or Disney+ (No further response to my queries direct to them which is pretty shoddy)? It’s been over 2 weeks now & people are paying for this (and may not have any other means of access)

cheers

Nick

As I said before had the same problem, in the last 3days the app start to work normally. After reset the hub I didn't reinstall the app and I didn't move it on to the menu bar just left it as I was(after full reset) .. Maybe it coincidence or they manage to fix it something after I've complained over and over 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ hope all stay OK, and good luck guys

Hi guys,

There’s been some challenges in reproducing this exact error at the Samsung end.

So in addition to the model number and full software version, if you’re still experiencing this can you also share the following info (if possible)?

  • What is your ISP?
  • Wireless or wired connection?
  • Issue still present on a Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot?
  • Does the issue still occur after unplugging/re-plugging from the mains?

Hi,

TalkTalk is my ISP,  with a direct connection to the bt master socket.

The TV is ethernet connected via a network switch. The switch only ever has one device using bandwidth at a time so unlikely that that would be an issue.

Issue still present after a power off and on at the mains.

Do you turn the main switch off? Coz mine always work after resetting the hub but always go back to the error message after I switch off the main TV switch.

Hi,

I still have the problem as well. After resetting the hubs and entering all the data again for the different apps, which takes a while, Disney+ works for a couple of days no matter if I switch of the mains or leave it on stand-by. But then the same mistake starts over.

ISP: Stadtwerke (through fiber optic network), wireless, didn't try a mobile network yet.

Same here again in Paris!

ISP  : Orange

FTTH

wire connected.

nothing new! I still believe that it is a problem with the cache somehow which is sending an abnormal parameter to the app.

it is really annoying !
i cannot imagine that Samsung techs are not able to get this error in lab! Especially if this error has already a code 1033! It is a joke .... why would you create a specific error code if you have no occurrences...

seriously....

Samsung you can do better.

thks
