Dark wavy line across top of screen

Hi all, I've had this dark wavy line running across the top of my screen. It appeared several months ago, not that noticeable at the start, but it's got progressively worse. I've tried the image test on settings, adjusted brightness levels etc but to no avail. Any ideas what could have caused this?

I've got that too on mine, along with 4 bright spots. No idea what's caused it, but the TV is 7 years old.

Have come to the conclusion that it's on it's way out, but can't afford a new one at the moment!

I wouldn't mind, but my set is not even 3 years old! From what I gather the oled screens are susceptible to all sorts of things, burn in, thick stripes across the screen and so on. I may invest in a qled screen, with extra warranty

Yeah, that would be great!

But 3 years, you would expect more life than that! Ours only started going 6 months ago.

Even their phones are susceptible to burn in etc, as I was told by a phone repair company.
