We have a 55 inch QLED TV bought in 2020. Watching TV on Saturday I noticed a dot in the top right corner of the screen with lines running down and across the screen. It has all the appearance of being impacted by a blunt object however I know for certain that this is not the case. All I get from TV engineers, Samsung and the vendors is that this is impact damage however I know for certain that this is not the case, if we had damaged it we would have taken it on the chin and not considered the vendors 5 year guarantee. Have other people encountered the same issue?

About 10 years ago i had a similar issue, Samsung TV from Costco, one day looked like it had shattered, repair guy came took one luck and said impact, I argued it had no visible damage to no avail.
