Can't select photos for ambient mode

Hi,

I recently purchased a Samsung 75 inch QLED with ambient mode (QE75Q6FN). Initially ambient mode worked, but now I cannot select pictures on my iPhone when using Samsung's app "Smart things". Control works and even settings for ambient mode, but when I click to "Select photos" I just get a spinner and am unable to see any photos.

Any ideas on what I should do in order to make this work?

I have already reset the TV fully, signed in and out of my Samsung account on both devices, deleted the account and created a new one, and tried connecting from another iOS device. Follow the issue with the ambient mode, I also had an issue where I could not access the App store on the TV (just a spinner), but that resolved following that I created a new Samsung account.

Go to the smart things app on your tv and sign in if you are already signed in sign out and resign in make sure that you check if the tv is working again by creating your own board in ambent mode and veiw it on the tv

So obviously this is a larger issue than just simple settings and account status and can also be a combination of these.  I have a Q80T and the S20 Ultra.  I've verified my TV is on the same network (wifi or lan), logged out and back in, verified privacy policies, full reset, reset the photos I had already uploaded, etc.  It worked for a short time but after uploading various photos to different ambient modes something happened and it just stopped working entirely.  All other modes work just fine.  I tried to find a way to reset just the ambient mode feature which led me to simply reset the whole TV, which didn't work.  I restarted my phone and cleared cache on the smartthings app... still nothing.  Some of these tips might work but only if you're narrowed down to a specific issue but the fact remains that ambient mode itself can get locked up on custom settings regardless of any other setting on the TV with no clear way to reset it.

To be clear, I am only having this issue on the Auto Gallery Ambient Mode setting.  All other "My Album" modes are working fine and allow me to upload photos.  A couple more tricks you can try are to uninstall the Gallery app on the TV (I have a theory that this specific Ambient Mode uses the Gallery API to display custom photos as this trick allowed me to upload photos again to the other modes except for Auto Gallery).  The other trick is to go into each My Album mode (Style and Settings) and Reset Photos.

Other than this we might just have to wait for another system update to see this working again.  I tried to find a service menu but unless I'm mistaken, this isn't an option unless you have a specific remote with all the buttons necessary to enter the service menu.  I'm not sure that would help anyway since I don't know what options are in the service menu but I was trying to find a way to delete the Auto Gallery mode and reinstall it.

Update: The June 22 2020 update (1301.5) fixed my issue. Not sure if it was just the act of updating the firmware or a fix in the firmware itself. Has me wondering if we can re-install firmware to help fix issues like this in the future. It's likely there's a step in the firmware updating process that clears cache and app states while rebooting.

I've got same problem with ambient mode and uploading my photos. My TV is connected by LAN to same router as my S20+. I'm logged in correctly, TV have latest firmware. During uploading photos I get error code 013301. I tried some solutions from this thread but it still doesn't work.

I forgot to mention that all devices have IPv6.
